Experiment of Symbols

I was trying to resemble the symbols -- these Chinese characters into a graphics, which I thought was a meaningful experiment:
Say that we recognize these symbols via producing the image we see, and process these symbols in our minds to understand the image, to appreciate the image and so. But what if we skip the direct symbol recognition via our senses, and just use abstract symbols to present the objects in the image. What would happen? How we could appreciate the image? What's the process of our recognition?
I was curious about it. Thus I made such a series of images. (But I think these needs more consideration to such a question. )
