Inktober 2022 Day 17
Day 17: "Campfire"
Subject: Shovel Knight
Time Taken: 2 and a 1/2 Hours (Approx)

Ladies and Gentlemen it finally happened, the 2 hour mark has been broken. I feel like I had to be thorough with the background it would've looked lazy just have a campfire surrounded by the negative space of a sketchbook page. I tried my best to mimic the shading used for the trees from the in game pixel art but I dunno it's not perfect that's for sure. I think above all else it was nice to draw Shovel Knight again. I absolutely adore this game and as soon as I saw campfire on the topic list I knew I had to draw the iconic campfire scene... no matter how hard the background ended up being xD.
