Kingdom of Bulgaria

It is a constitutional monarchy in Southeast Europe. The Kingdom was proclaimed on October 5 (Julian calendar September 22), 1908, when the Bulgarian state was elevated from Grand Duchy to Tsar.

Tsar Ferdinand was the founder of the Bulgarian dynasty. crowned as tsar by declaration of independence Tsar Ferdinand had plans to annex territories within the Balkans inhabited by the majority of Bulgarians. (land occupied by Bulgaria and delivered by the Ottoman Empire in accordance with the Treaty of Berlin)

The kingdom was almost at war with the surrounding nations throughout its existence. Until the size that has been given the nickname For many years Bulgaria mobilized an army of more than 1 million out of about 5 million inhabitants, and during the 1910s Bulgaria waged three major wars – both First and Second Balkan Wars and World War I After the end of World War I Bulgaria was therefore barred from its military and disarmed entirely by the Allies. The plan to unify the Bulgarian nation failed.

a few decades later Bulgaria entered World War II on the Axis Powers. To want to reunify the Bulgarian nation again, and as always, Bulgaria was defeated in the war. and switched to the Allies in 1944. Later in 1946, the monarchy was abolished. As a result, the last tsar's king took refuge. and the kingdom was changed to the People's Republic of Bulgaria
