急行フライング・エース

急行フライング・エースとは酢抜原からウッドストック鉄道のウッドストック駅まで走ってる座席指定急行列車。名前の由来はスヌーピーがレッドバロンと戦ったことと、その飛行機の感じで早く走る蒸気機関車と列車名につけられた名前。デビュー当時はネジ式連結器だったがウッドストック鉄道で起きた事故により自動連結器に交換された。最高速度140km/h。来年春のダイヤ改正でフィニ急線の岡倉まで直通する予定。

The Flying Ace

Express Flying Ace is a reserved-seat express train that runs from the Sunuhara to Woodstock Station on the Woodstock Railway. The origin of the name is Snoopy's battle with the Red Baron and the name given to the steam locomotive and train that runs fast like an airplane. At the time of its debut, it was a screw-type coupler, but it was replaced with an automatic coupler due to an accident on the Woodstock Railway. Maximum speed 140km/h. With the timetable revision next spring, it is scheduled to run directly to Okakura on the Phinekyu Line.
