Katsumi(nick - Katy, Kitty Kat, Kutey Kat, Nekogurl) is a kunoichi ("ninja") support Class III. I was influenced by the "American Ninja" series in the '80s and created Katsumi & her older brother Kei . When I started playing Dead or Alive in '97 on the Sega Saturn, I replace their original names(superhero) and gave both siblings Japanese names. Katsumi was an alternate name for Kasumi after I found out about the name due to a "mature cinema" actress.
