In hopes of embracing the arrival of the new year..
A change of scenery did not alter the beauty of the fireworks...
But Helena....
Something was different
I known of her beauty for a long time...
But this feels like something I've never seen before
Come to think of it..
She wanted to experience the fireworks this way
She also wanted to try out one of those kimonos
Now I see why...
The first glance she wore it
She was prettier than before
but when the fireworks colored the dark sky
It looks like something out of the ordinary...
We both watched the fireworks blooming in a flash of light..
But I couldn't help but notice...
The way the fireworks glared over her and her kimono.
I was speechless.
The scenery may have changed...
But the presence of the Goddess remains unaltered
At this moment...
This sight...
This experience...
It's all so euphoric!
I wanted this night to go on...
Forever.

Ya know what they say... "Better late than never"... right?
Anyway, after I was done with Aces & Nines, I still wanted to do it this New Year render! The concept months before this render was created was gonna be Helena in the stalls that we see in the animes during festivals... Ya know, the ones where they buy all the unique foods, try and take a fish home... and all that. But setting up the scene was gonna be a pain. By the time I started working on this render, it was already December 31 lol
A part of me said "If you decided not to make a Christmas render, you can decide to just scrap this idea too". But for some reason, I guess I just really wanted to see Helena in a kimono you know :D . My first waifu looked really beautiful in her kimono, but I never really saw what would Helena look in a kimono. So in this render, I'm going to find out.... And find out I did.
Now if you've played DOAXVV, you know that they DID NOT GIVE HELENA A KIMONO OF HER OWN. Why, I don't fucking know why... So with that said, I ΜΆsΜΆtΜΆoΜΆlΜΆeΜΆ "borrowed" a kimono from someone who isn't exactly in my "Top DOA girls" list. One of the kimonos I was interested in, was for a character who was smol compared to Helena (in all angles I might add). I even had to ask people that I could trust that knew DOA with what kimono to fit for Helena. And out of all of them, I was probably the only one who thought the 1st kimono looked good on her.
They all thought the yellow kimono was better because it blends well with Helena since she's a blonde. My thinking was that this kimono looked nice on her as a color to complement her blonde hair. So which kimono to go with out of the 2, was Aaaaaanoooother decision making sequence to undergo. But eventually, I made up my mind and just rendered both lol.
