some backstory

some lore for a project i'm writing
this is one of the few times i've tried lineless art... what do you guys think? i'm not too sold on it. i like lineart... but maybe stepping out of my comfort zone  here might be a good thing
i also admittedly rushed the background. it wasn't supposed to be the focus, but i'm not sure i put in enough time into it, looking at it now.
aaand here's some writing that's tied to this character... i hope it's not too edgy-sounding for you all, hahah
i always appreciate any thoughts or criticism!
