Plein-air: the rain trees

I painted this en plein-air when I was travelling in Singapore. I love the grand Rain Trees there. I also like the sheltered pathways along the streets, since the rain would pour, catching you completely unawares. It was very challenging to draw without a desk. I wish I had had more time to paint, but painting outdoors in Singapore's humid weather was too exhausting. The motorcyclists were painted in later at a desk.
