Eve - Xoza'ir Narrative
"Gods, that was nerve-wracking"
Both Eve and I left the meeting room, passed the guard and made our way to my room. Eve, the carefree angel, turned to face me.
"How was it? You've been really quiet since we brought you here a few hours ago. I'm worried."
She was... worried for me? "Uhh... I'm still getting used to everything that's happening right now, regarding my confinement, the Echo, all of those stuff."
"I'm sure you'll be fine. You've always managed to overcome any challenges." Eve replied with a smile. Wait, why did she say it as if she knew me previously? Hmm...
As we walked by the enormous map of... someplace, hmm why can't I remember this, Eve spoke again. "You're actually pretty lucky today."
"What do you mean?" I replied, clearly confused.
"You had the unique chance to meet Lord Victor in person and interact with, not only him but also his two brothers who were present in the room. It's quite rare for anyone to have the opportunity to meet with the Patriarch, so not many people I know have had that experience."
"Was I really that special for the Patriarch to care. I don't even remember my past, let alone the Echo."
"Xoza'ir, you might not remember what you did but he does, personally." I pondered for a while about the Patriarch's reasonings for rescuing me.
Eventually, we reached my bedroom. "Here we are, I'm almost completed with clearing out those old tomes but here is where you will be staying."
I was taken aback by the size of this room. It's huge. "I hope you like what I did in this space." Eve said, smiling.
"You did this... for me?" I wandered around the room, admiring the furniture and the painting above my bed, hmm, that place seems familiar.
I sat down on the bed after admiring the place. Little did I know, Eve also sat down... next to me. Gods I was nervous.
I can feel the tension increase as we sat in silence. I was readying myself to stand up to get some fresh air but was interrupted by Eve's question.
"Hey... Do you still remember me from your past?"
