Limbus Company OC: Gulehri
Name: Gulehri
تعین
Particulars: Brutal honesty, staunchly determined
Literary reference: The squirrel in "Aik Pahar aur Gulehri" (The Mountain and the Squirrel)
EGO: Season of Struggle
"He has taught me climbing large trees."
Gulehri is a former farmgirl. Steady headed, honest, and hard working. She does her best to stay supportive of any fellow Sinners via honest criticisms, though her honesty can make her come across as insensitive or aloof, and rebuttals to people complaining about it can make her come across as arrogant.
Her weapon of choice is a warscythe.
Literature reference:
Her whole thing is a reference to the poem "Aik Pahar aur Gulehri" (The mountain and the squirrel) by the famous Indian poet, Allama Iqbal. In the Poem, a mountain haughtily chastises a random squirrel passing by as insignificant to itself, unimportant, and that it should kill itself. The mountain in the poem represented the upper classes of people and their common haughty nature. The squirrel criticized the mountain back, pointing out it's flaws and it's own abilities, and explaining that everything Allah makes has a purpose and a strength to its existence. The squirrel represented the common man and their determination to overcome problems and struggles through every day life. But as you can see from the backgrounds, there's more to Gulehri than meets the eye in terms of her history...
I was inspired by u/miggs_fmp 's Zampano to give my own spin on a Limbus OC!
