Chibi Senshi - Pool Party

The girls were enjoying a hot day near the pool. Mako, Rei and Usagi were already playing in the water with a ball.

"Come on, Usagi!", taunted Rei while throwing the ball over her head to Mako. "Grrr... Not... fair!!!", replied the blonde.

As Mako caught the ball, she showed it to Usagi. "Alright, Usagi. Here you go!", said Mako, smiling as she was about to hand the ball to Usagi. As the blonde tried to grab it, Mako grinned and flipped it over her head toward Rei! "Nooooooo!!", yelled Usagi as she jumped to try and catch it!

Minako was watching the scene, smiling. She turned her head toward Ami who was reading a book. *Sluuuurp* "Come on, Ami. It's not the time to read! Come in the water", said Minako as she got up after slurping her drink.

Ami didn't answer, as she was absorbed in her lecture. Minako groaned and sneaked behind Ami's chair and stole her book! "Minako!", shouted Ami!

The blonde smiled : "Ami, it's fine to read but we want to have fun with you, too!", said the blonde girl. She removed her ribbon from her hair and put it between the pages, closing the book! "I bookmarked your page!", said the blonde girl, smiling.

Ami smiled. "Alright, you win!". Minako gave the book back, but just as she did, she poked Ami's shoulder! "... and by the way, TAG!! You're it!!". Minako giggled, and ran away. "Oh no, you don't!", replied Ami putting the book on her chair and running after the blonde.

The backyard wasn't that big, and Ami cornered Minako, with only the water left for an escape. "Come here!". Ami lunged, but a slippery Minako dodged her and dove into the pool. "Now you're mine", thought Ami who dove after her friend.

I wanted to redraw one of the first Sailor Moon art I ever did, more than 20 years ago which featured a chibi version of the Senshi enjoying a pool day.
