Walker X Technology Demonstrator

Designed and built as a prototype technology demonstrator as part of competition against Mitsubishi, Kawasaki's Walker X was the ambitious result of computer technology brought forward by previous breakthroughs in room temperature superconductors. Competing as part of the JGSDF's new infantry fire support vehicle tender.

Intended to be fast (68 kph) and always on the move to compensate for it's far increased height in exchange for lighter armour, it's 40mm autocannon and 2 wire guided anti-tank missiles gives it a potent bite. This is closely integrated with a fully 360° VR remote control system wired into cameras and the fire control system, allowing the pilot the visibility and movement without the associated side effects of effectively being put in a roller coaster; or the danger.
