カロ アルマート P-100/50 イル ドゥーチェ タンク は、ベニート ムッソリーニによって設計された超重戦車 (駆逐艦) です。

主兵装として強力な艦砲を備え、副兵装は対歩兵砲と、2 つの対空砲塔および/または 2 つのロケットランチャーに交換可能な 2 つの改良型 M13/40 砲塔です。その装甲は前部と側面では印象的でしたが、後部は脆弱で脆かったです。また、側面装甲の角度があまり良くありませんでした。

戦車を動かすために特別に設計された大型エンジンを搭載していました。エンジンのおかげでマウスや T-90 タートルよりは若干速いですが、それでも第二次世界大戦のほとんどの戦車よりは遅いです。

この戦車の重量と非実用的な設計により、9 つの試作車を超えて生産段階に進むことはなく、そのうちオリジナルは 3 台だけが生き残りました。

The Carro Armato P-100/50 Il-Duce Tank is a super heavy tank (destroyer) designed by Benito Mussolini.

It has a powerful naval gun as its main armament while its secondary armament are a anti infantry gun and 2 modified M13/40 turrets that can be swapped to 2 anti-aircraft turrets and/or 2 rocket launchers. Its armor was impressive at the front and the sides but frail and brittle in the back. Also, its side armor was not angled very well.

It was powered by a large engine designed specifically to make the tank move. Even though it is slightly faster than the Maus and T-90 Turtle thanks to its engine, it still is slower than most tanks of WW2.

Due to its heavy weight and impractical design of the tank, it never moved past the production stage beyond 9 prototypes of which only 3 of the original survived.
