Adger Tharne

Adger Tharne was, during the 3rd era, a Half-Blood wizard who was spurned by the Grand College of Dechestus. A jeweler by family trade, he turned his efforts and studies into the flow of magic and the use of foci, using his knowledge and skills to eventually design the "Crystalline Wand". This design would become one of the most widely used wands due to it's ability to not only negate overcast, but store the energy from a blowback to enhance later spells. With the magic being focused into the crystal on the end, and positioning the obtainment sphere at the base of the palm, the wand could use the many colored gemstones to act as gates for fast switching and storage of one of each of the 8 fundamental elements.

Though not respected or known in his time, his contribution to the magical world would echo through history.
