Tesia Arc 3 Incoming

Series Title: Tesia's Resolve

The first pat of this arc will consist of a prologue that will tell us more of the background of the events that led to Tesia's eventual arrest and some of her life before getting sent to the MSPA with a manslaughter charge. Then the second part will take place at the MSPA where Tesia has already been incarcerated for around 1.5 years into her sentence. The rest of her crew that I briefly mentioned in the previous will be introduced and I hope to be able to flush out some of those characters a bit more.

This was a simple arc not much going on in here since it was my first attempt at writing something since high school and my first attempt at creating some images with a program that I had recently discovered.

Here Tesia was arrested for assaulting an individual with her essence abilities in self-defense, but during the trial, other facts came to light that caused her defense to break down. In the end, she was sentenced with a manslaughter charge. In the continent of Alizthea, they have something labeled as the one-strike rule for essentialists which means that if you are found to have used your powers violently against another individual leading to crippling injuries or deaths of the other party you will be sentenced to a minimum of a life sentence of 25 years. Tesia was sentenced and sent to the Maximum Security Prison of Alizthea, the only prison of its kind in the continent, which is used to harbor dangerous essence users from all over the continent, in here they complete their sentences while doing mining work that is essential for the functioning of modern society.

This arc focuses on Tesia 6 months after she was incarcerated at the MSPA where she has somehow adapted to the rigorous lifestyle and routine of prison, but she is still depressed and thinks that she is useless due to her essence powers being more of the support kind rather than the ones that are useful for the rigorous mine work. Here we see how through the mentorship of an older inmate called Rihg she is able to grow her abilities and understand her role as a supporter on the crew to make them work more efficiently. She also receives an unexpected visitor and some revelations from Rihg, who had become her mentor in a way.
