23. The Armory

Based off a true story...

You'd think the armory would be a marine mecca, over-flowing with weapons galore. But that same reason is why the armory is actually marine hell. All of those weapons have to be accounted for, serial numbers read-in manually. And don't forget the optics too, for ACOG's and PEQ's are serialized as well. God save you if you lose one.

And when you're done counting the serialized gear, you can count the SL3 too, as well as the other random stuff lying around. Those dull-ass ka-bars that couldn't cut a slice a bread but have seen more action than you? Count 'em. Those busted surefire flashlights from the heady days of early GWOT? I don't know why we still have them, but you will count 'em. And so on...

Did I mention you have to clean them too?
