College Roomies from Hell!!!

This is a tame one. I was going through some older bookmarks, and I came across my old webcomic saves. I used to be right into webcomics. Back in the day. Remember Keenspot? It's a shell of its former self, but it's still around. Anyways, CRFH was one of the series I read religiously and wouldn't you know it, Maritza still releases comics, albeit at a far more infrequent rate.

Anyways, it got me nostalgic and so I threw together some renders of the main cast.

In order:

Mike: Possibly psychotic asshole who is the defacto leader of the group. Gains a blue tentacle left arm mutation. May also be the early form of the arch-angel Michael, but who can say for sure?

Dave: The nicest one. Was the 'normal' one until he gained laser vision and half his soul was put into a dead cat. Tends to be the voice of reason, though no one listens to him. Pines for Margaret but later starts dating Blue.

Roger: Oddball cloudcuckoolander. Except he's anything but. Smartest of the group. Most useless mutation is an extra eyeball in his right hand that's just as nearsighted as his real eyes. Carries around his pet rock, Fluffy. May or may not be a were-coyote.

Marsha: Mike's fiance. Suffers from a severe case of Disney Princess syndrome, drawing every woodland creature in a ten mile radius to her. Mutates a pair of wings after being bitten by a bat-tato.

April: Former carny. She's a copy of her "twin" sister, accidentally created with magic. Was the normie until she went batshit insane, tried to kill Mike, likely birthed the anti-christ, and is just all around hated by everyone.

Margaret: She's Sarah Conner, just for the Devil and not Skynet. Was the love object of Dave for the longest time. Satan made her think her destiny was to marry him and birth the anti-christ, but Satan just likes to fuck with people's minds so...

Blue: Mike's younger sister. Just as messed up as he is. She fell for Dave the moment she saw him. Basically his stalker for several months before he gave up on Margaret and started dating her. Her only quirk is her and Mike's complete psycho bitch of a mother.

So yea, it started off as a normal college slice of life comic and very VERY quickly added in horror, sci-fi, religious, and fantasy elements, while juggling humor and serious tones. It's...actually not that great. I reread the archives recently and realized its just that it was out at the perfect time and I was the perfect age for it. Plot meanders everywhere and the author just tries too hard to put 'twists' in where none are needed. But it's a nice nostalgia trip.
