実は僕は日本の風習としての「お月見」をしたことがありません。天体望遠鏡でクレーターを見たり月食みたりならしたことがありますが。今はそんな日本人の方が多いのではと思います。

I’ve actually never participated in "Otsukimi," a traditional Japanese moon-viewing event. I have, however, used a telescope to observe craters and watched lunar eclipses. I suspect that many Japanese people these days might be the same.
