アナログの面白さは、その物質性と偶然性にあると思います。修正の方法が限られている分、その過程で生まれる遊びや偶然が作品に面白い要素を与えてくれます。一方で、デジタルにはその良さもあり、正確さや編集の自由さがあります。
絵画やドローイングに関しては、実際の実体とピクセル画像とでは情報量が全く異なります。例えば油絵などは、実物を見ることでしか感じ取れない部分が多いですから、画廊で直接見てもらうしかありません。

私がアップロードしているコラージュやほとんどの作品も、実物の物質感はどうしても剥ぎ取られてしまっています。それでも、こうして見ていただけるのは本当に嬉しいことです。

I think the fun of analog lies in its materiality and coincidence. Because the methods of modification are limited, the play and coincidence created in the process give the work an interesting element. On the other hand, digital has its advantages as well, such as accuracy and freedom of editing.

When it comes to paintings and drawings, the amount of information is completely different between the actual entity and the pixel image. With oil paintings, for example, there are many aspects that can only be sensed by looking at the actual object, so the only way to get a sense of the painting is to see it in person at an art gallery.

The collages and most of the works I upload are also inevitably stripped of the materiality of the real thing. Still, I am very happy that they can be seen in this way.
