Die Eiswaffel

I been thinking it kinda sucks that I post stuff so late I barely remember my thought process behind them, but I also be forgetting about deciding to upload daily to get everything outta my system more quickly. And sometimes uploading feels like too much work somehow. My brain must be fried.

This Regice was a neat idea when I sketched it, but the coloring process stretched out over multiple weeks. Coloring and shading went in baby steps. And like another piece I completely forgot to the white cel-lighting(?), only to later go back and go way too fucking crazy on it. Though with Regice you could at least argue that that's part of its design.

The buildings of the background were mostly taken from/based on/heavily referenced from a Scrafty and a Koffing, I believe. For the building silhouettes in the back I think I based them on Mauville City and that's why they are this uniquely shaped. I don't quite remember why though.

With this Regice it might've been that I came up with the title first, mainly because I know I also wanted to draw a Trubbish and name it "Die Eistüte" (Pun!).
