GIANT ROBO: ANSWER/ジャイアントロボ: 答え

GIANT ROBO: ANSWER is the tentative name of a GR project that, in the future, I would love to make to express my love for the franchise.

Whilst the project is still in its very early conception phase, the designs of the main GR units have been made. They take inspiration from their various incarnations over the years but try to maintain a more "classic" look. GR-3 and GR-4 were designed to be female this time around as I felt having the GR units be exclusively masculine was a bit boring.

Besides the change in design, the GR units have a different origin inspired by the OVA:

After the crash site of a mysterious robot is discovered in Japan, scientists from around the globe rush to study it's technology. The research done on the robot helps advance the world into a glorious new age but within the shadows, evil lurks. Big Fire, a secret organization, takes control over the crash site and uses the mysterious robot's technology to create their own machines to aid them in their quest for total world domination with their strongest creations being the GR units.

ジャイアントロボ： 答え」は、私が将来、このフランチャイズへの愛を表現するために作りたいと思っているGRプロジェクトの仮の名前です。

このプロジェクトはまだ初期の構想段階ですが、主要なGRユニットのデザインはできています。長年にわたるさまざまな姿からインスピレーションを得ていますが、より「クラシック」な外観を維持しようとしています。GR-3とGR-4は、今回は女性としてデザインされた。

謎のロボットの墜落現場が日本で発見され、世界中の科学者がそのロボットの技術を研究するために殺到する。ロボットの研究は世界を輝かしい新時代へと導くが、その影には悪が潜んでいた。秘密組織ビッグ・ファイアが墜落現場を掌握し、謎のロボットのテクノロジーを使って独自のマシンを作り上げ、世界征服を目指す。
