Southerland Claus

I had this idea while grocery shopping earlier and as soon as I got home I had to drop everything I should have been working on instead to make something for it because for some reason the idea of a cowboy Santa that lives in the South Pole and took the meme "be the American Japan thinks you are" to heart tickled me more than it probably should have. Like I actually laughed out loud in the grocery store, probably made a few people uncomfortable, imagining this guy going "Yee-HawHawHaw" flying around in a sleigh pulled by horses instead of reindeer, maybe has a pair of pinup-lady-mudflaps on the back of the sleigh, leaving gifts in the stockings of anyone who leaves out a cheeseburger, a bottle of beer, and a box of bullets. The burger's for him, the beer's for his horses, and the bullets are for that son of a bitch Krampus if he tries to steal your presents.

When I was a kid and wanted to grow up to be an animator, one of my big dreams was to make a Christmas special, the exact words I always used were "cherished holiday classic," like all December growing up I'd be constantly saying "I'm gonna make a cherished holiday classic," but never had a specific idea of what that cherished holiday classic would be, just that I wanted to make one, I think I know now which one I wanna make when I eventually decide to do that
