暁新世の問題

遠い昔に生きてきた部族の村人たちは、恐竜やドラゴンの迫りくる脅威と共存しながら生き残るために、多くのサバイバルスキルを身につけてきました。
それに比べれば、蛇はたとえ巨大なものであっても、人間を出し抜くことができるか、あるいはティタノボアが人間を腹を満たすのに十分な食料とみなすかのどちらかによって、人間にとってかなり重要性が低いと考えられるだろう。
かわいそうなキーラはそうではありませんでした。夜遅くに村を出た彼女は、木々の中で人食い虫に襲われました。キーラは、この年齢でもこの虫から飛びかかるだけのスピードと反応時間がありましたが、目の前の最も明るいものに目を奪われると、動けなくなってしまいました。
催眠術のような視線で、キーラの運命はティタノボアに委ねられ、ティタノボアは時間を無駄にすることなく彼女を巻き付け、巻き付かせて閉じ込めた。

Having lived in an era long since gone, the tribal villagers have adapted a great deal of survival skills when surviving alongside the ever looming threat of Dinosaurs and Dragons.
One would think in comparison, that a snake, even a giant one, would be of considerably less consequence to these humans, either by being able to outmanoeuvre them, or that the Titanoboas would even consider humans to be adequate food to fill their bellies.
Such was not the case for poor Keira. Out from the village late at night, she found herself ambushed up in the trees by one of these man-eater worms, and while Keira had the speed and reaction time to pounce away from this creature, even at her age, she found herself unable to move once her eyes locked on to the brightest thing in front of her.
With a hypnotic gaze, Keira's fate was up to the Titanoboa now, who wasted no time wrapping her up and trapping her in its coils.
