High above the arena, within the colosseum, a network of catwalks and walkways stretches across the ceiling, meant for maintenance crews. Some of these suspended bridges remain untouched, forgotten by the staff. One of them has become Finn’s sanctuary—a secluded perch where he watches the other fighters below, thinks of strategies and finds peace in solitude. It is his private refuge, a place to escape from the world, alone with his thoughts. The idea of sharing it with someone else was unthinkable. That is, until Kiki entered his wretched life and began to change everything.
And now...well, you know he’s reached a breakthrough when he not only brings her to his hidden retreat but also prepares sandwiches for the two of them. His face remains impassive, but Kiki sees the effort in his gestures. She can almost hear the thoughts rattling in his head—and she can’t help but smile.
