Fern & Oleander

Drew a couple of my characters from one of my fantasy settings last year, to the left is Ferdinand "Fern" and Oleander "Lea". They've been around for a while, originally as part of a pokemon gijinka setting but I recently decided to give them a bit of an update, though their story is still fairly similar.

Ferdinand was born into a family that made their name through the creation of pottery, well known in their small time but relatively unknown in the wider world. His parents never spared him much attention, often leaving him to his own devices to the point he was wandering the nearby ruins and found himself cursed, blinded by some unseen creature tied to the items forgotten there. He was sent away to a school of music where he learned a skill he could use without his sight, but now travelling on his own most often defaults to petty tricks and pick pocketing (through the use of dubious magic granted by his curse) to get by. His parents had Oleander shortly after he was sent away, something he was unaware of so when this stranger approaches him during his travels and claims kinship to him, he is naturally dubious. So now the two must navigate the mess orchestrated by their parent's carelessness >v>
