Gaming with Misaka

Pixiv tells me this is my 500th post here. That's a milestone of no importance to anyone but me, but I still wanted to do something a little special to mark the occasion.

So, here is my avatar, Morgan, playing online with AIMisaka's avatar. I have mentioned AIMisaka (user/46185438) before -- she's an artist I admire, she's been very encouraging of my own artistic efforts, and she seems like a lovely person. Her avatar and mine have a lot in common, including gaming, so I feel like they would be good friends. AIMisaka's avatar is based on her irl appearance, though, whereas mine is not -- I hope you're not too disappointed to learn that I am not, in fact, a floofy purple-haired foxgirl (believe me, I wish I was).

In this image, though, her avatar represents more than just AIMisaka herself. The support and encouragement she's given me has been echoed by the support and encouragement of so many people -- here, on Civitai, and on Archive of Our Own. I honestly love making these images and telling these stories, not just for myself but for all of you. To think that something I had a hand in creating might have brightened someone's day or brought a little joy into their lives makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. And I love warm and fuzzy, as demonstrated by the fact that more than 20% of my posts have the tag "sweater" :)

So, although it's Misaka that Morgan is gaming with here (um, don't ask me what they're playing, though -- maybe those are just loading screens?), Morgan and I are very grateful for all of you who enjoy my images, read my stories, and support me with bookmarks, likes, and comments. Thank you!
