Spielautomaten

Based on the sounds they make in the movies, my brothers and me usually called the regis 'the slotmachines' instead. Though tbh did we as kids even know what slot machines sounded like? I kinda was done with the comic by the time I realized that I forgot to like. Cross check if literally anyone else shares that slot machine sentiment. Oops.

The backgrounds are a bit more complicated this time around, lowkey was fun to draw veilstone city. Perhaps bc I knew I wanted to keep it simple so no shading on the bg.

For the text I didn't just wanna write "slot machine noises" bc that'd be lame/ruin the punchline. I did not think of writing beeps. I didn't wanna spam üns everywhere so I just tried hard to write unintelligible text.

Regirock was just meant to be playing slots, somehow it ends up looking like it's disgruntled/hitting the machine in frustration. I mean, the screen only turned out that way bc the 7 was the one thing I remembered from the slots, but giving it a full 7 row would've been pushing it.
Lowkey forgot that when I first doodled this I also doodled another comic I have yet to do a proper sketch for. Argh, if only comic drawing wasn't such a pain in the ass.
