Hajime kindaichi is a young detective who learned his detective skills from his grandpa. So every case he solves is involved with spooky murder mysteries. He at times presents his deduction at who the culprit is, n at other times, he unmasked the culprit as we can all see, the killer wants to pull of a Scooby-Doo hoax just to get away with his crimes. And it's almost an inspiration to the slasher movies, n at times, he's worries bout his girlfriend's wellbeing to make sure she doesn't get hurt or killed.
