[Scene + Coordinate] Valkyria 1

Heyo friends! I live once more, and hopefully longer this time :DD ! ! So, in January, I was stuck on deciding what outfits to give Natsuki, then I got sick with a nasty cold, which really didn't help for a whole week and a half. After I got better, I was still stuck on finding clothes for Natsuki until I got completely distracted by Kingdom Come Deliverance II's release in February. Ever since KCDII came out, it's literally all I've been doing everyday. Koikatsu kind of just slipped out of my mind, which is kind of crazy.

Well, enough blogposting.. I'm here to post about my favorite series of all time, Valkyria Chronicles! I decided on this because today, or today at least in Japan, is the 24th of April, the initial release date of Valkyria Chronicles 1. I've wanted to make something Valkyria related for the longest time so I can put it on Monika. So, I made a pair of outfits and they look almost identical to the ones in VC1! Although I'm proud of how the outfits look, I'm rather unhappy with the boots.. I tried porting their boots over from VC1 and making a zipmod, but it didn't work properly, so I just made boots that look almost right. I have mixed feelings on Isara's outfit, mainly because of the shawl and sling bag, but besides that it looks great. I also made Welkin's uniform, but it'll take some time before it's complete. Besides all that, I put Monika into my Alicia uniform and she's super cute in it! I wanted to put Sayori into Isara's uniform, however I didn't have enough time to prepare a scene, so twas skipped.

Anyhoo, I used official art and cutscenes from the game as references for today's scenes, replicating them as close as possible. Although gone for some time, I thankfully finished quite quickly and was able to ship them off here in time! I also reused and improved two old scenes I made a while ago, which saved me time. It's a bit sad that I couldn't get the whole cast to replace the template characters for the Edelweiss scene though. Maybe some day I'll fill that entire scene in...

I don't know if I should say anything for my next post, since I don't want to keep making empty promises that I might break.. Instead, I'll just propose ideas for next scenes from here on out. I really want to do more tactical scenes since they're fun and I wanna make a spring post before April ends, though I also want to do something since we surpassed 200 followers, but I'm not sure what to do. Kind of torn between these three, but we'll see where it goes. Please look forward to my next work!
