Hwarang warrior

Hwarang, also known as the Flower Warriors, were an elite group of young warriors in the Silla dynasty (present-day South Korea) of the ancient kingdom of Korea that lasted until the 10th century.

There were educational institutions as well as social clubs where members of the hwarang gathered for all aspects of study that were largely derived from Korean Buddhism. Some Chinese sources refer to the facial and physical beauty of the "of the "Flower Warriors".
