Console Girls!
(Ignore the black bar at the far right back)
Back when I was a console-tans fanatic, I made OCs based on the seventh generation games consoles and handhelds (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, and Xbox 360), with the inclusion of the Sega Hard Girls (Saturn, Game Gear, Genesis and Dreamcast). If you're wondering why this formation looks "familiar", I based them off of the Neptunia CPUs and Candidates that appeared at the time - PS3-tan as Noire, PSP-tan as Uni, Wii-tan as Blanc, DS-tan as Ram and Rom, Xbox 360-tan as Vert, Genesis-tan as Plutia, and Dreamcast-tan as Uzume, with Saturn-tan and Game Gear-tan taking Neptune and Nepgear's place since they're no logical counterparts to the latter two's base hardware. Here are some notes:
- Game Gear-tan's three-toned hair color was hard to implement in Kisekae, so I'd improvised and gave her a three-toned flower-ish accessory.
- Saturn-tan's outfit is her original model's colors, designed by me.
- I used Genesis instead of Mega Drive-tan since she arguably fits Plutia's more aggressive side than MD. Also if you look closely, I gave her visible abs to make her look more "muscular" (too bad Kisekae doesn't go beyond that)
- For the weaponry - Saturn-tan is two magical staffs, GG-tan is her game console (assuming it *could* be used as a weapon, like video game character coming out of her screen to beat up enemies), PS3-tan is a giant sword, PSP-tan is sais, Wii-tan is a wizard/witches staff, DS-tan is a giant axe (wanted a hammer, but Kisekae didn't implement that), Xbox 360-tan is a rifle, Genesis-tan is pistols, and Dreamcast-tan is a katana.
- With Wii and DS-tan in particular, I just swapped around their personalities AND weaponry from their Neptunia "counterparts" - DS-tan is a grouchy shortstuff wielding a giant weapon, like Blanc; Wii-tan is the cheerful but shy child who wields a magic staff, compositing the two halves of Ram and Rom.
- Also, DS-tan looks a lot like Vita from Lyrical Nanoha, that's because most people consider Blanc an expy of Vita, so this reference becomes full circle.
It is worth mentioning that these designs (sans the Seha Girls) were one-off concepts I made before I ditched that idea in favor of a fan project based on the Neptunia series... before I too discarded that idea in favor of going back to my initial idea of making an original series based on the console wars (minus the Seha Girls). That series won't be "announced" until I've started my channel-tan series.
EDIT: Replaced "Nepjinka" tag with "着せ替え2".
