Citlali☕

Hi guys!

I'm happy to be back to greet you, April was a turbulent and difficult month as I had some problems with my health (probably nobody cares, but that's the reason for my absence) Anyway, I feel lucky to be able to come back and share some illustration work with you.

This time it's about Citlali, the adorable “abuelita itztli” from the video game Genshin Impact, it's a character with a very cute design where pink and purple colors predominate, something curious for such a long-lived character.

The idea behind this illustration comes after doing a little research on this character in question, sometimes I try to include references to my country in my illustrations and in this case it is one of the quintessential symbols of Colombia which is coffee. You see, normally grandparents and older people love to drink coffee, here it is known as “tinto” and it is the drink of choice for almost every occasion, work, study and even sleep in some cases.

Although Citlali seems to be a fan of craft beer, I liked to combine the fact that she is known as the “abuelita itztli” enjoying a good Colombian coffee.
