These characters have come a long way and are totally different to whatever original concept I had of them. Sam is much older now, referred to as "Dr. Shikajima" now, so i've leaned into the direction of him being more physically attractive. I did not intend for his design to be attractive at first, but I think these pinup-style outfits fit his character mesh well with his new lore. Finn on the other hand, I don't even remember whatever idea I had for him. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with the character, but now his design has been tied down for more appeal and a backstory that makes sense within the universe.
Molli-Q is transformed into a horse here, as these set of designs will appear in a western-themed episode. You might think, "hm, westerns don't fit in the world of SOLARPUNX!" you'll just have to see when I get around to it!
