Pat Parker - War Nurse / パット パーカ

This mornings warm up drawing is based on a 1940s super heroine named Pat Parker War Nurse.
I know that many of the super heroines during the war were basically pin up girls, but the costume that Pat and her squad of nurses wear just makes no sense for being War Nurses. Especially fighting along side the soldiers.
I had to go look up women's bathing suits of the 1940s in order to draw this as realistically as possible. Even that, I think her belt is too low.
I have a real passion for the pulp and war time comic heroes.
