Camelia and No.42 are agent of KROMA GRAND LIBRARY, an Independent organization that dedicated themselves to study, record, and preserve history, knowledge, and stories of the world. They align themselves to no one, and act as a neutral organization.
But, in order to get an accurate and comprehensive record of the world, They need to have a 'witness' that see the history as its unfold from different perspectives. That's what 'SHEPHERD' is, an agent as well as a scribe that directly involved themselves into the history of the world in order to record it from their perspective.
Camelia were assigned to Fireland Union as the 215th Shepherd of Kroma Grand Library. Along with her 'Hound', a mysterious armored knight simply known as No.42, They observe and act in the saga of the world.
