Future Badminton Star

Here is my OC Hana practicing her flick serve for junior badminton. She dreams of someday playing for the national team like her idol Aya Ohori, who is also a left-handed player.

One thing I'm super happy about is I was able to do this pose without a reference! Though I did look at my own hands to get them to look right holding the racket and shuttle. I've also been wanting to draw a skirt with these kinds of layered wide pleats for a while now, and Hana's badminton outfit was the perfect opportunity!
