This is a slight reboot from => fav.me/d9y1shq as I felt this scene conveys way better the story :)

I decided to keep Angemon out of the picture in thic case and illustrate the moment Hikari , who was about to talk to Takeru, sees the ghostly figure of Senpai (Magnus Takariyama)

The night before, Magnus said farewell to Hikari as he was going to focus on protecting what he called his current self. Before doing that, he pointed somme issues that she needed to check out before erasing her memories about him...

“Before embracing love, you ought to learn the true meaning of Friendship. Because sometimes you wish to be comforted without asking for it” declared Magnus ” Because, Hikari-san, a good friend takes interest in another person´s suffering and tries to do something even at the risk of being rebuffed. You may have restored an Andromon´s heart, yet you failed the friend who needed you the most”

Hikari woke up with her memories of Senapi practically gone...although she still retained vague feelings of disappointing someone very dear to her despite not recalling who. Overwhelmed by guilt and sadness, when she woke up the next day she was practically drenchedin tears.

"Takeru-kun...wake up, it's lunch time..." she began to say to her friend, who casually spent the last half of history class ZZZing, but her words died when she suddenly caught a sight of a very beautiful lad patting Takeru's hair.

"...!"

"Shhh" the ikemen , gently, invited her to remain silent "I am just his guardian angel" he winked an eye before vanishing in the air...
