Shadow slime concept

Huh...quite the filler we have here. Decided it become a concept

A mysterious creature swimming in darkness. Its true form is incomprehensible, heavily evidenced by the lively activity seen underneath the coat it dons. Where the legs were expected to be appears to be nothing more than a writhing mass of blackness, eyes peeking and mouths gaping. It goes aimlessly wandering about, but it seems to be very attracted to the shades of other living beings. It has the ability to melt and lose its form, becoming a living, but indistinguishable shadow, hiding in the shade of anyone catching its intrigue. This creature has also been known to feed on them as well, typically gaining more power, and possibly more chaotic in its shape. Its gender is heavily implied to be female due to the lithe build and presence of breasts.
