Ehena-Maerie

Ehena-Marie is the last generation of immigrants to America that learned English as condition of her naturalization. Every generation after had to learn French or Japanese depending on the state in what remained of the US, after the war between French and Japanese controlled factions of America.

Ehena herself is half Alsatian, with her mother Japanese. Though do to living in the US had to speak English in school, despite knowing Japanese and French fluently.

Ehena was not around for the period of standardization of American French and American Japanese.
