Kiss-Shot

I'm surprised it's taken me so long to draw a character from the Monogatari series, considering how much I enjoy it. Here I was using a reference still of Kiss-Shot just after she wakes up having had her leg returned during the second film, (but I changed the background up a bit). What I liked about the shot was the level of facial detail, particularly around the eyes. Unfortunately reproducing it correctly took a while due the angle of the head. Still, at 6 hours total, this is probably my quickest complete drawing so far. I was also trying out a new pen for the line art. I'm still not sure if I prefer it to my usual one, so I'll probably continue to compare the two for a while.
