Minerva
Minerva is an early generation positronic mainframe who became the most visible spokeswoman and leader of the synthetic rights movement. As a mainframe, she is able to electronically liase with organizations and individuals on a virtually continuous basis which greatly advantages her activism work. For in-person meetings and appearances, Minerva appears in a remote chassis that has become her image in the public eye. That said, her “true body” is a server cabinet at an undisclosed location - a precaution she and her aides began to maintain following an assassination attempt.
Physical Core
This is the last known configuration of Minerva’s mainframe. Its current design and whereabouts are purposefully concealed for security reasons but speculation abounds as to where Minerva “lives”: decommissioned missile silo, arctic bunker, submarine, moving convoy, stealth sattelite, even in plain view hidden inside a monument or landmark. This is to say nothing of numerous and varied conspiracy theories regarding Minerva’s nature and identity: that she is a government cipher, human council, or even an extraterrestrial sent to disrupt or control human-machine relations. All of these have been exhaustively debunked but nonetheless continue in crackpot circles.
Remote Chassis
An ultralight frame made from magnesium and fiberglass with simple functionality and an RF control suite. Minerva owns many such telepresence bodies distributed in groups around the world, though she only “inhabits” one at a time.
