Vadane and Ketter for Ardil

This is a Christmas gift for my friend Ardil the Traveller! We've been working on a long Dwarf Fortress RP together. This is one of the central characters, who Ardil plays: Vadane Thitíiyilo, an elf prince who was snatched by goblins and raised in the local goblin capital, where he lived most of his life. After he was nearly killed by the general of that goblin nation's army, he fled town and found himself reuniting with the last remnants of the elven nation he originally hailed from, and has subsequently had many adventures in learning how to not be an asshole, reconnecting with his elven heritage, and helping drag the elves into a new era of understanding between them and the other peoples of the world.

The beak dog is his loyal companion Ketter, who I play. Ketter is an elderly beak dog, as you can see from his scruffy, pale plumage. He was maybe a year or two away from being culled for meat when Vadane, wounded from his encounter with the general, lucked into fleeing into the stable he was in. He figured an older animal would be less likely to turn on him in his weakened state, and he was right.

Incidentally, Ketter is actually laying down in this picture. Beak dogs are big.
