BEASTIARIUM #6 Peryton

This is a creature believed to originate in the mythical land of Atlantis. It is a hybrid that combines the physical characteristics of a stag and an eagle. According to folklore, it is believed that e Peryton casts the fake shadow, that of a man, until it kill a human male in its life. After that, the Peryton starts casting its own true shadow.

The “BEASTIARIUM” Series

This is a series inspired by my fascination for Cryptozoology, mythical creatures, and urban legends. The collection started as an attempt to create a mythical book on beasts. Illustrating such a large project will be a life-long endeavour, so I decided to release the illustrations individually.
