HoloFantasy: Dark Memoir [WIP]

This is an original one-shot manga created by me. Its still unfinished however, so for now the finished pages you see here are only 7-14. The rest will be uploaded whenever I have the chance to finish this series. Enjoy this teaser I suppose :P

Manga Synopsis:

With the destruction of the world at stake, HoloMyth has decided it would be more efficient to go their separate ways and correct the anomalies plaguing the branching timelines, individually rather than as a group. This particular story revolves around Calliope Mori and her experiences in dealing with one of the anomalies, known in this timeline as the “Lich Queen”.

Full Lore/Context:

The year is 2030 and the world as we know it is on the brink of total collapse. One day, an unknown entity suddenly manifested into our plane of reality and began eroding it. Nearly all life has been wiped out, including many of my fellow Holomembers… With no foreseeable way to prevent our inevitable demise, the only thing left was to despair and wait for the END to come… That is, until a glimmer of hope was found amidst the endless abyss of darkness.

While I was looking for possible solutions via our past, present, and future timelines to prevent the complete destruction of our world, to my dismay, all I saw was absolute nothingness. Whatever this entity was, it was able to erode even time itself. However, amidst the eroded origin timeline there existed multiple sub-timelines that should have never existed and were left completely intact. What’s even more bizarre is that every one of these newly created timelines contained an anomaly that caused it to branch away from the origin timeline. From what I could surmise, these newly formed branching timelines manifested even before the unknown anomaly came into existence in our origin timeline. Thus, I have hypothesized that if the anomalies in the newly created timelines were to be corrected, that should in turn rid our world of it’s anomaly and prevent it’s destruction.

By no means is this a guaranteed way to prevent the total collapse of our world, but its the only hope we have left. Therefore, a team consisting of myself and my fellow HoloMyth members was formed with a goal of traveling into each and every branching timeline in order to correct the anomalies. Also, another team was formed consisting of HoloCouncil and a handful of surviving Holomembers, tasked with stalling the erosion of our world for as long as possible. With everything now in motion, our final fight for survival has now begun! I hope that when this is all over, we can return to our normal, carefree days once more…
