Alex's golden trap

Alex went exploring into some of the ancient ruins down at the the edge of the Farlands, one ruin in particular looks at what seem to have been a temple, as curious as she is alex went inside.
She discovers a giant statue in the middle of the temple, sitting on what used to be a throne, and it looks like it's been in a unrepair state for so long hence the only thing missing from it is the hand. Alex went on exploring clockwise just in case she didn't missed anything worth of value. A few minutes in, her foot almost stumble upon a giant rock in which it caught her eye as this doesn't seem like old debris since the whole temple seem to be intact. Upon closer examination she discovers it's the hand of the giant statue earlier, which seems to fallen from it, the hand is facing upward with its palm open and as she takes a look at it, she can't see any value of salvaging this giant hunk of rock and so she moved on. As she walked on top of the hand, she'd somehow feel a weird tingling sensation crawling up to her as it took a few seconds for her to realised her feet were getting a tad a bit heavy and upon looking down, as much to her surprised her whole feet were now solid gold and that it's crawling up and up towards her waist. Alex tried struggling for a bit and after that she panicked and try to yell out for help, hoping someone would hear her, but she knows she's the only one here. The gold effect seems to be taking hold of her body now and alex starts to feeling her whole waist a bit too tight and it slowly starts crawling up to her shoulders, she tried to wave her arms around hoping it would slow it down but to no avail, it kept creeping until fully encasing both her hands. Alex now feels a lot harder to think as she feels her mind starting to blank out due to the gold encasing her full from top to bottom, now Alex is nothing more than a gold statue standing on the palm of the broken hand, her face being absolute panicky and in some other way, cute, is nothing more than a lost treasure for someone else if they could find it. Alex's thoughts and consciousness still tired from all the struggle, now is just a cute shiny statue of gold waiting for someone or something would find her and hopefully released her for this captivity, for now she'll just have take it in.
