"Agatha is a young woman frustrated by the life she has had to live, forced to accept privations imposed by the Empire, the Church, and her own family.
After fleeing his home upon learning that she has been promised in marriage without her consent, Agatha comes into contact with Esdrael: an ancestral spirit sealed inside an ancient oak for sins forgotten by time.
When her village is razed to the ground and its inhabitants slaughtered by a mercenary army, Agatha asks the entity for help to save her life and destroy her enemies. Esdrael accepts ... for a price.
With no family and no home to return to, Agatha must now comply with the "Pact" she has forged with the creature, the price of which must be paid in blood.
Unknowingly, Agatha has set in motion a series of events that will sink the Empire into a new Age of Darkness."
Project TAoFM is a work-in-progress between a friend of mine (MagicBlueBox from DA) and me (Queen-Zelda) to show a middle-ages world in decadence, and how everything can be better... Or worse.
