Marlyne Enid , better known as Mantrum by many, was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on February 14, 1992. She is the founder and art director of ________, and recently also became a part of the Xpin-Off Universe family. Always in love with art and writing, she began drawing and painting at a very early age, constantly seeking out new sources and knowledge. Mostly self-taught, she took a drawing class during elementary school at Alejandro Jr. Cruz on 2003. At 16, she began remembering and reacquainting herself with animated shows such as Ranma 1/2, Dragon Ball, Kenjin, Pokémon, and many of Hayao Miyazaki's films, which sparked her curiosity behind the processes used to create these films and shows. She has been drawing manga non-stop ever since then.

Continuing her self-teaching, she began accomplishing many of the goals she set for herself. At 19 years old, she received her first Aiptek tablet, marking the dawn of a new artistic era for her, and once again, she tought out to challenge herself to learn as much as she could about digital art and take her artwork to new heights, a feat she achieved in a very short period of time.

Even though her personal artistic tastes lie within manga, Marlyne never limits herself to it. She is constantly studying and applying new techniques from various art styles, in order to perfect them and effectively turn them into valuable tools and assets for her own work.
