Empire of Japan

It was the easternmost empire and one of the world's great powers. In the 19th-20th centuries, it was established after the Meiji Restoration on January 3, 1868 and ended on May 3, 1947 after the Empire of Japan was defeated in World War II.

In this era, many industries are rapidly emerging in Japan. including military might Under the principle Fukoku Kyohei (Japanese: 富国強兵; Japanese: 富国強兵; Romaji: A Prosperous Country strong military) which led to the new superpower of the world Ultimately, joining the Axis powers in World War II. and able to conquer the entire Asia-Pacific region That made the year 1942 considered the peak of the Empire of Japan. with a vast territory of 7,400,000 square kilometers

After military successes in the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Pacific War The Japanese Empire began to experience many defeats in the Pacific Ocean. including the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki That made the Empire of Japan Surrendered to the Allies on September 2, 1945, just as the Allies led by the United States took control of Japan. A new constitution was drafted in which the United States participated. The new constitution came into effect on May 3, 1947, marking the end of the Japanese Empire.
