Nιʋαɳ sketch page [2] [1/2]
The boy needs a lot of things but a nap would be a good start.

One thing, aside from many things I enjoy about him, is how comfortable he looks often. Must be the hoodie.
Also, the second slide takes it all for certain.
-
Bit about how his behaviour was influenced and such from my notes:
“If I were to condense it, he pretty much became like an unsocialized dog, but around people. From being purposely isolated paired with the Sekker nature and being bound to canines. He picked up animal like behavior patterns but not much of the ones when it comes to people, since there was not much interaction there aside from him serving them for years. Which was what the Commander wanted, in the end. Regardless of how much it messed Nivan up long term. So it was the case of:
Interacting with dogs/wolves (but any animal really)? “Not a problem.”
Interacting with people? “I am confused and scared.”
Naturally he became more acquainted with being around people casually because he was forced to from mid teenage years upwards, but that deeply rooted uncertainty never quite went away.
It is also interesting to see who he developed a fondness of (the easiest). Being comfortable around Sirius is no surprise since they radiate calm energy by simply existing, but there was more to it when it came to Nivan on a personal level. Firstly, because he noticed Sirius has a deeper personal connection with nature and animals/creatures as well, which was something he understood. And because Sirius is a Cervid, as was Maru. One of the servants in the Commander’s house I mentioned briefly before, who was told to ‘manage him’ when he was a child. And since they were one of, if not the only person who showed him any amount of care and compassion, Sirius is also safe/soothing and familiar to him visually.
Also thinking about the half instinct half rationality thing, and how the Commander could pretty much manipulate him to his own will to a considerable extent, more so than one could a non Sekker. But I will write about that later.”

I wanted to post this yesterday but I crashed before even beginning to edit this.
I have to stop saying “I passed out” because I forget the alternate meaning it has and then people think I actually ended up fainting, which is usually not the case.
Anyway. I will likely post more of him shortly.
