Who is Vatista?

Vatista debuted in the original arcade release of Under Night In-Birth back in September 2012 as one of the twelve playable fighters, She's an Autonomic Nerve who has been around even before the founding of the Night Blade and Licht Kreis. Having connections with Kuon the Eternal, she has indirectly assisted shape events that have brought about the current story as we know it.

In her home series, Vatista is played as an anti-counter fighter who utilises in charge commands for projectiles and anti-air for spacing. Therefore, tight execution is needed to be able to manage chain of attacks effectively.

However Vatista has flaws like her niche attacks are simply east to punish especially on block or at a bad angle the opponent can attack from. Adding on to her hard execution, Vatista must often constantly be shifting from her pressure to zoning back and forth in order to control the match. And her being a charge character means at times, relying on jump-in combos as well as long-duration connecting moves is a necessity for her. A lack of mixup making her unable to pop open a turtling opponent without frame-traps

She is also one of the Under Night In-Birth representative in Blazblue Cross Tag Battle as a DLC Fighter with Xanthe Huynh being Vatista's English voice actress marking the first the fighter is speaking English for the first time and Nao Toyama voices her since the very first Under Night In-Birth game.
